    Quick answer

Fix My PC Store provides residential WiFi setup in West Palm Beach and across Palm Beach County. We configure compatible routers, mesh systems, extenders, security, and connected devices. This is hands-on home network help—not an internet plan—and final speed and coverage still depend on your provider, building, and equipment.

    Residential WiFi service

When home WiFi needs more than a reboot

A good setup begins by finding the real bottleneck instead of adding another extender at random.

    Request service

Dead zones or weak signal in bedrooms, patios, garages, or home offices

Video calls, streaming, or smart devices that disconnect in certain rooms

A new mesh system, extender, or router that will not finish setup

Too many network names, old passwords, or devices connected to the wrong band

A provider gateway that works near the modem but not across the home

Guest, work, and smart-home devices that need a clearer network plan

    Scope before promises

What our home WiFi setup can include

We scope the visit around your home, equipment, and priorities, then explain what can be improved before making changes.

    1

    Coverage review

We identify weak areas, interference, placement problems, and whether the internet connection or the local WiFi is causing the slowdown.

    2

    Mesh or extender setup

We place and configure compatible mesh nodes or extenders with one sensible network name and secure access.

    3

    Device connection

We can reconnect selected computers, phones, TVs, printers, and smart-home devices to the approved network.

    4

    Security basics

We update administrator access, wireless encryption, guest-network settings, and available firmware when supported by the equipment.

Mesh WiFi, an extender, or a better router?

An extender can help a small, specific gap, but it may create another network name or reduce usable speed. A mesh system is often easier to manage across a larger or multi-level home. A better-positioned router may solve the problem without adding hardware.

We compare the home layout, wired connections, current equipment, internet plan, and the devices that matter most. You receive a practical recommendation—not a promise that new hardware can overcome every wall, provider issue, or neighborhood interference source.

Residential network help, clearly separated from your ISP

We work with customer-owned and many provider-supplied routers, mesh kits, extenders, switches, and connected devices. Model support, account access, wiring needs, and equipment condition can affect the work. We will not ask for an ISP account password unless it is necessary and you authorize its use.

Fix My PC Store does not sell internet service and cannot change an ISP outage, plan limit, or signal arriving at the home. For structured cabling, multi-office networks, managed firewalls, or business continuity, we will route the request to our business networking team.
