Who is RemoteCare for?+
RemoteCare is ongoing care for home PC users who want help with maintenance, protection and software problems. It brings the ongoing support approach of managed business IT to your home computer. Our team will confirm that your Windows PC is eligible before enrollment.
How much does RemoteCare cost?+
RemoteCare is $29.95 per month, month to month. Contact our team to confirm device coverage, enrollment details and the terms for your computer before you sign up.
What does unlimited cover?+
The RemoteCare offer includes unlimited remote PC tune-ups and unlimited remote virus cleanup. Other features include managed antivirus, Windows updates and patch management, real-time monitoring, remote software support and discounted on-site labor. Our team will explain the scope for your computer before enrollment.
Can I include more than one computer?+
Tell us how many computers you would like cared for. We’ll confirm device eligibility, how the monthly price applies and the coverage for each computer before you enroll. The advertised price should not be assumed to cover every device in a household.
Does RemoteCare cover Macs, phones or tablets?+
RemoteCare is advertised for home PCs, including Windows updates and patch management. Contact us to confirm eligibility for your computer. Our general remote support connection tool supports Windows and Mac sessions, but that does not mean every device is included in RemoteCare.
Does monitoring mean someone answers 24/7?+
Real-time monitoring is a plan feature; it does not mean a technician is available around the clock. Call Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., or Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern. Our team will explain support availability when you enroll.
What if my computer won’t start or connect to the internet?+
Remote work needs a functioning computer and internet connection. A no-start problem, physical damage or some hardware and network faults require hands-on service. Call us and we’ll help you decide whether an in-store or on-site assessment is appropriate.
Are on-site visits and hardware repairs included?+
RemoteCare includes discounted on-site labor. On-site work is separately charged at the applicable rate. Hardware problems may need an in-person assessment; our team will explain the scope and price before you approve additional work.
Is RemoteCare the same as a backup service?+
The advertised RemoteCare features do not list a backup service. Antivirus, monitoring and updates do not replace a separate backup of important files. Ask our team about backup options if you need help protecting your photos and documents.
How do I connect with my technician?+
Once you have arranged support with our team, use the Remote Support connection tool. It provides the download and setup steps for your session. Visiting that tool does not enroll you in RemoteCare.
