What’s the difference between SharePoint and OneDrive?
OneDrive is for each person’s own work files. SharePoint is for files the team shares, organized into sites and libraries with their own permissions. Most offices use both.
Can you migrate our file server to SharePoint?
Yes. We inventory the existing shares, agree on the new structure and permissions, then move files in stages and check them before the old server is retired. The proposal lists what’s in scope and the expected disruption.
Can we open SharePoint files from home?
Yes, from a browser, the Office apps or synced folders, subject to the access and device policies you choose. We can restrict access by user, device or location where licensing allows.
How do you handle permissions?
We map who needs to see, edit and share each area, set permissions by group rather than person where possible, and review external sharing settings with you before launch.
Do we need a particular Microsoft 365 plan?
Most business plans include SharePoint and OneDrive. Some features, such as advanced retention or certain automations, depend on the plan; we confirm what your licensing covers in the proposal.
